Berlin, 12th June 2025 – Berlin-based marketing and ad tech company Second Stage GmbH announced today that it secured €560,000 in funding for its marketing intelligence platform, TRACKS, through the European Union’s Creative Europe MEDIA program. In addition to this substantial public support, Second Stage is investing an additional €370,000 of its own capital. This investment underscores Second Stage’s commitment to accelerating TRACKS’ development and advancing marketing analytics and attribution in the PC and console gaming industry.

TRACKS (https://tracks.secondstage.io/) is used by over a dozen developers, publishers, and agencies worldwide to optimize the marketing strategies and performance outcomes of indie to AAA PC and console games throughout their product lifecycle. TRACKS enables users to reduce the cost of user acquisition and optimize digital marketing campaigns with its suite of analytics tools and attribution tracking capabilities. The platform provides real-time visibility into the marketing funnel by connecting media spending to installs, engagement, and in-game value.

This industry-leading approach provides clients with a comprehensive view of the effectiveness of their marketing spending, from ad clicks to installations and beyond, allowing marketing teams to refine their targeting, make faster, data-driven decisions, and enhance their return on invest.
This funding aligns with the EU’s strategic goal of supporting forward-looking technologies that bolster Europe’s digital and creative sectors. TRACKS is among the selected tools receiving part of the €8 million Creative Europe MEDIA investment designated for innovation in the games and audiovisual industries in 2025.
Second Stage plans to use the funding to increase TRACKS’ reach, enhance its functionality, expand the team and support more game campaigns from early access to post-launch growth.
